Maria Basit Malik is the creative force behind the label, MBM. Since childhood Maria could feel her love and passion for vibrant colors, drapes of fabrics and embroidery techniques. She was always amused by her mom's heirloom dresses and led in designing wedding and party wear for her sisters since teenage. Her passion embodied her to pursue graduation from preeminent institute “Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design” (PIFD) Lahore and further broadened her vision as she took fashion and couture training from “la chambre syndicale de la couture” Paris. In 2012 Maria decided to establish her own brand where she could engage in creating, experimenting and contributing new trends into the world of the fashion industry. MBM was launched in 2012 and has since made its way in the spotlight.
